St. Patties Day!!!

I had wanted to post this on, or a few days before, March 17th, but as you all remember my poor computer....well no need to dwell on that again. These are the cards our family received this year. I hope they enjoyed them as much as I did colouring and making them. I did try out a few wild colours on the "hankie" but decided that traditional was best.

Here is the inside, it was created using MDS

Monthly Christmas Card

Well since I couldn't post last month, here's 2 for you. These, as well as last month's, were part of a set I did for a client last year.

I chose this card for my Christmas workshop when I fell in love with the Ornament punch, and then found it had a coordinating stamp set. How FUN is that!!! The girls had fun making it, and since I had 2 made for myself into my client's set it went, easy-peasy.
#119847 - Ornament Punch
#116517 - Delightful Decorations stamp set
#111690 - Snow Swirled stamp set (sentiment)
#117335 - Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder
Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler card stock and ink, basic pearls, 1/4" white taffeta ribbon, dimensionals and a paperclip for the hanger.

This one is testing my memory (I'm doing much better at taking notes)I think I used Crumb cake for the base, but it could have been Brushed Gold. I know that I used Cherry Cobbler CS and ink, Snow Swirled stamp set, Encore gold ink and of course my favourite.....embossing powder. One day maybe I'll make a card without any embossing it LOL.

Well thanks for stopping in, feel free to leave me a comment or visit my store if your mojo was tickled.

Hugs

Monthly Christmas Card

Okay, so I came up with a theme to keep me on my schedule of trying to post once a week. During the 2nd week of every month I will post a Christmas card (at least this will make me post once a month for sure LOL). For the first while it will be cards that I made in 2010, but I will let you know when I start on this year's crop.

So here is my favourite of last year's pick.

I used SU totally on this card.Whisper White card base and matting along with Brushed Gold CS, VersaMark with Gold embossing powder, Snow Swirled and Sincere Salutations stamp sets, and some pearl accents. (Edited to add: Oopps seems I took the pic before I added the pearls)
Oh and I stamped the envie, but can't remember what I used.

Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for DH's Aunt's 75th birthday. Her children held a lovely party for her and as it happened, her brother, DH's Uncle was turning 80 the following week (I made a card for him also, just haven't downloaded it yet. Another post), so it was a combined party with 2 cakes. I think that was the best part, who doesn't like birthday cake. Wish I could think of some Stephanie Plum quotes on that right now.

Recipe:
CS:   SU Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Stamp: SU Birthday Bakery
Misc.: Ribbon from my stash,Copics - sorry forgot to note colours used
and a MS punch.

I've Arrived

Hello fellow papercrafters! This is my first post on my brand new blog. I'm so excited, I have put this venture off for far too long, over the next while I plan to post pics of some of my creations, but please bear with me this is all new and I have to figure out the technical stuff yet. So keep checking in and enjoy.
